“As a native of Mannheim, I grew up in Rhein-Main-region of Hesse (surrounding area of Frankfurt), where I got to know and appreciate the diversity of people in a colorful metropolitan area. After leaving the Rhein-Main-region I went to Munich for a brief period. But ultimately my journey brouht me to north – where I started a family, in the most beautiful city in the world.”
“In the internal medical practice of Dr. Sperling in Winterhude and in the Asklepios Clinic in Barmbek I was able to gain many years of experience in the large area of internal medicine and general medical care.”
“After my studies in Göttingen and my doctorate at the Max-Planck-Institute for Experimental Medicine there, I worked as an assistant doctor at the Center for Anaesthesiology, Rescue and Intensive Care Medicine at the Göttingen University Hospital. I then completed my specialist training in anaesthesia at the Asklepios Clinic in Hamburg-Barmbek. As a freelance and self-employed anaesthetist, I have extensive insights into anesthesia and intensive care medicine and the many areas of surgery.”
“Working as an emergency doctor in the Hamburg rescue service and in the surrounding area was one of the most eventful and exciting experiences of my professional life. As a specialist in the emergency department of the Asklepios Clinic Barmbek, I was able to deepen this experience. Since emergency medicine is often about critical decisions, I consider solid emergency medical competence to be essential for general medicine as well.”
“In practice, my focus is on general medical care. Tracking down a symptom with the necessary examinations and differential diagnostic skills is particularly appealing to me. Modern ultrasound diagnostics is one of my most important tools for this.”
“In addition to medicine, I am the husband of a wonderful wife and the father of three lovely children. I like to travel and try to stay active.”

“I am a Rhinelander who has become a Hamburger by choice. For me this means combining valuable and important sensibilities. Openness and humor are just as important to me as Hanseatic reliability, and its emphasis on responsibility and decision-making skills. As well, managing a family with several young children has taught me more about stress tolerance than any emergency medical service.”
“While employed as a general practitioner in Hamburg's bacon belt, I was able to gain medical experience and insights just as important as when I worked as as a senior physician in an interdisciplinary emergency room at a maximum-care hospital.”
“In our practice I pay detailed attention to symptom-oriented ultrasound diagnostics, psychosomatics and digital health topics. Behind my decision to start an innovative practice was a belief that it is time to create our own environment to incorporate these cutting-edge tools, ideas and approaches for the well-being of our patients.”
“For me, prevention and holistic medicine means focusing on every single patient with all their psychosocial factors, physique, diet and sleep.”
„By nature, I am an optimist and I look forward to the future of medicine; part of which we want to help shape.“
“My favorite hobbies are traveling, skiing and diving, which I do too rarely."

"After studying medicine in Mainz, I worked as a junior doctor in internal medicine in several clinics until I made the decision to work in a GP practice in the heart of Hamburg. In daily contact with a wide variety of people, I quickly recognised the special appeal and importance of this work. I am delighted to now be there for you as a GP in Ottensen and Hoheluft.’‘
"I see my role as a GP in providing long-term support for people in various life situations – especially in an increasingly fast-moving world, I want to offer my patients a reliable point of contact.’‘
„Mutual trust and appreciation – without judgement – are important for a successful treatment.“

„Born in northern Germany, I have been living in Hamburg since 2017. After graduating from high school, I took a gap year in Guatemala and studied medicine in Göttingen, Concepción and Viña del Mar (both Chile). “
„After my studies, I completed a specicalization in anaesthesiology, emergency medicine and intensive care at Charité Berlin, University Hospital Zurich, Leverkusen Hospital and UKE Hamburg-Eppendorf. Fascinated by the broad yet specialized nature of intensive care medicine, I focused in this area.“
„The longer I cared for patients in intensive care units, the clearer it became to me that I enjoyed the long-term care for patients to protect them against serious diseases through information, prevention and participatory decision-making.“
„Therefore, I decided to specialize again, this time in general and family medicine.“
„Supporting families in the context of their individual health, social and family context is as important to me as well-founded, evidence-based medicine and brought medical knowledge.“
„I am fascinated by Spanish and Latin American languages and cultures. I enjoy doing sports and spending time with my family outdoors.“
„My partner and I have two children and live in Hamburg-Altona.“

“I gained my professional experience in the Helios Mariahilf Clinic in Hamburg-Harburg and at the Asklepios Clinic Hamburg-Heidberg, where I also worked in the outpatient medical care center. In addition, as an emergency doctor in the ambulance service, I have deepened my knowledge of acute medicine.”
“After starting with acute trauma-orthopaedic care, I have now transitioned my focus more and more to conservative orthopaedic and trauma-surgical therapy and prevention. As part of this, I have expanded my skillset and expertise through training in manual therapy / chiropractic and acupuncture.”
“For me, a special focus is on the care and support for ambitious leisure and competitive athletes. This means focusing on long-term prevention, therapy concepts with an individual treatment plan. It can also include approaches such as manual therapy, chiropractic or acupuncture. These are developed and supported by me after taking a holistic view of the patient.”

“I have been helping our patients from Eppendorf / Hoheluft with great pleasure since February 2005. Even before the practice was taken over by EppenDocs, I was already working in the general homeopathic practice of Angela Warnecke M.D.. I am particularly pleased that so many patients remain loyal to us.”
“In addition to administration and patient care, I am enthusiastic about our tools and approaches we use to provide current and innovative care for our patients. Things like modern computer systems, medical technologies and applications. Laboratory work, including taking blood samples and providing vaccinations, is my job, and I am responsible for guiding our trainees.”
“I completed my training as a medical assistant in 2004 in the dermatological practice of Dr. med. Holger Reinke. From this I gained extensive experience in wound care, which is very applicable and beneficial in general medical care and in our practice.”
“I was born and grew up in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel and I still feel at home there. I therefore really enjoy working in our neighboring district of Eppendorf / Hoheluft.”

After graduating from high school in Westphalia, I ended up in the far North in Kiel. There I completed my studies in nutritional science in 2016. Shortly afterward, I entered into working life in what I consider to be the most beautiful city in Germany – Hamburg. For a period of five years I worked in clinical research in the field of dermatology. I gained valuable experience in two research institutes, especially in caring for patients.
I am very pleased to support the modern practice of the EppenDocs team since January 2022. Moving forward, I would like to use my knowledge of nutritional medicine in a targeted way and help people by providing personal nutritional advice. I believe in the importance of empathy and friendly communication in my work.
In my free time I am passionate about playing volleyball, going to all kinds of cultural events and discovering the city's restaurants with my best girlfriends.
