After leaving the Rhein-Main-region I went to Munich for a brief period. But ultimately my journey brouht me to north – where I started a family, in the most beautiful city in the world.”

“After my studies in Göttingen and my doctorate at the Max-Planck-Institute for Experimental Medicine there, I worked as an assistant doctor at the Center for Anaesthesiology, Rescue and Intensive Care Medicine at the Göttingen University Hospital. I then completed my specialist training in anaesthesia at the Asklepios Clinic in Hamburg-Barmbek. „I was born and raised in the UK and studied medicine at University College London. After completing my studies, I worked in different general medical specialities both in London and Liverpool. My love of travel and different cultures and languages brought me to Germany where I completed my training. I initially worked at the Ludwig Maximillian University hospital in Grosshadern, Munich, in the Department of Haematology, Oncology and Internal Medicine, where I was able to further increase my knowledge and experience.“

Here, I enjoyed an extremely varied training in general practice in the heart of Altona in the practice Beatrice Rossbach. „Born in northern Germany, I have been living in Hamburg since 2017. After graduating from high school, I took a gap year in Guatemala and studied medicine in Göttingen, Concepción and Viña del Mar (both Chile). “

„After my studies, I completed a specicalization in anaesthesiology, emergency medicine and intensive care at Charité Berlin, University Hospital Zurich, Leverkusen Hospital and UKE Hamburg-Eppendorf. Fascinated by the broad yet specialized nature of intensive care medicine, I focused in this area.“

„The longer I cared for patients in intensive care units, the clearer it became to me that I enjoyed the long-term care for patients to protect them against serious diseases through information, prevention and participatory decision-making.“
