“As a native of Mannheim, I grew up in Rhein-Main-region of Hesse (surrounding area of Frankfurt), where I got to know and appreciate the diversity of people in a colorful metropolitan area. After leaving the Rhein-Main-region I went to Munich for a brief period. But ultimately my journey brouht me to north – where I started a family, in the most beautiful city in the world.”
“In the internal medical practice of Dr. Sperling in Winterhude and in the Asklepios Clinic in Barmbek I was able to gain many years of experience in the large area of internal medicine and general medical care.”
“After my studies in Göttingen and my doctorate at the Max-Planck-Institute for Experimental Medicine there, I worked as an assistant doctor at the Center for Anaesthesiology, Rescue and Intensive Care Medicine at the Göttingen University Hospital. I then completed my specialist training in anaesthesia at the Asklepios Clinic in Hamburg-Barmbek. As a freelance and self-employed anaesthetist, I have extensive insights into anesthesia and intensive care medicine and the many areas of surgery.”
“Working as an emergency doctor in the Hamburg rescue service and in the surrounding area was one of the most eventful and exciting experiences of my professional life. As a specialist in the emergency department of the Asklepios Clinic Barmbek, I was able to deepen this experience. Since emergency medicine is often about critical decisions, I consider solid emergency medical competence to be essential for general medicine as well.”
“In practice, my focus is on general medical care. Tracking down a symptom with the necessary examinations and differential diagnostic skills is particularly appealing to me. Modern ultrasound diagnostics is one of my most important tools for this.”
“In addition to medicine, I am the husband of a wonderful wife and the father of three lovely children. I like to travel and try to stay active.”

„As a general practitioner, I am often the first point of contact for a wide range of concerns — and it is precisely this diversity that I find so rewarding about my profession.“

Larissa Kramer M.D.
Specialist in internal medicine/Family Medicine
„Born in Berlin and raised mostly in southern Germany, I completed my medical studies at the University of Jena. My specialist training in internal medicine initially focused on hepatology, gastroenterology, and infectious diseases at Jena University Hospital, followed by cardiology, emergency medicine, and interdisciplinary intensive care at the hospital in Hamburg-Bergedorf.“
„Most recently, I worked as a specialist in internal and general medicine in a family practice in Norderstedt focused on nutritional and preventive medicine. Ultrasound diagnostics were among my core competencies.“
„After transitioning from hospital medicine to primary care during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, I increasingly encountered patients with psychosomatic and psychological concerns. This experience encouraged me to complement my conventional medical background with supportive conversational techniques. In this context, I completed training as a course instructor for autogenic training and as a hypnotherapist at the Milton Erickson Institute in Hamburg.“
„I am very pleased to be joining the team at our Hoheluft practice in October 2025, where I will continue to pursue my passion for ultrasound diagnostics across various organ systems. My particular interests also include preventive medicine and psychosomatic primary care.“
„As a general practitioner, I am often the first point of contact for a wide range of concerns — and it is precisely this diversity that I find so rewarding about my profession.“
„In my free time, I enjoy being physically active and find balance through painting. Since 2017, I have made Hamburg my home and cherish life here with my husband and our daughter.“
Lars Lomberg M.D.
Specialist in internal medicine
“Evidence-based medicine and guidelines are important parts of medicine, but only a personalized and holistic approach enables the doctor to find the best treatment for each individual patient.”

“I am a Rhinelander who has become a Hamburger by choice. For me this means combining valuable and important sensibilities. Openness and humor are just as important to me as Hanseatic reliability, and its emphasis on responsibility and decision-making skills. As well, managing a family with several young children has taught me more about stress tolerance than any emergency medical service.”
“While employed as a general practitioner in Hamburg's bacon belt, I was able to gain medical experience and insights just as important as when I worked as as a senior physician in an interdisciplinary emergency room at a maximum-care hospital.”
“In our practice I pay detailed attention to symptom-oriented ultrasound diagnostics, psychosomatics and digital health topics. Behind my decision to start an innovative practice was a belief that it is time to create our own environment to incorporate these cutting-edge tools, ideas and approaches for the well-being of our patients.”
“For me, prevention and holistic medicine means focusing on every single patient with all their psychosocial factors, physique, diet and sleep.”
„By nature, I am an optimist and I look forward to the future of medicine; part of which we want to help shape.“
“My favorite hobbies are traveling, skiing and diving, which I do too rarely."

"After studying medicine in Mainz, I worked as a junior doctor in internal medicine in several clinics until I made the decision to work in a GP practice in the heart of Hamburg. In daily contact with a wide variety of people, I quickly recognised the special appeal and importance of this work. I am delighted to now be there for you as a GP in Ottensen and Hoheluft.’‘
"I see my role as a GP in providing long-term support for people in various life situations – especially in an increasingly fast-moving world, I want to offer my patients a reliable point of contact.’‘

„Born and raised in Hamburg, after studying medicine at the University of Hamburg I started my career at the Regio Klinik Elmshorn (a small town next to Hamburg) in the department of internal medicine. Working for different specialities (cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology) and at the emergency room, I had the chance to gain medical experience."
„After that, I decided to work at the psychiatric department of the University Medical Centre Hamburg (UKE) in order to learn in a second medical speciality.“
„Since June 2026, I „came home“ to the EppenDocs, where I had worked some time as a student a couple of years ago already and I am really looking forward to be part of the team of general practitioners at both locations in Eppendorf and Ottensen.“
"During my time off I do different kind of sports, for example being a football referee.“

„Born in Bremen, I spent my school years in Bavaria and returned to the north after completing my medical studies, where I now feel at home both professionally and personally.“
„During my federal volunteer service, I gained my first experience in the child and adolescent psychiatry at the university hospital in Munich. I then completed my medical studies in Riga and Lübeck.“
„I began my medical residency in neurology at the Schön Klinik Eilbek and subsequently continued it in internal medicine with a focus on emergency medicine at the Asklepios Klinikum Wandsbek. The broad spectrum of diseases and clinical challenges proved to be valuable preparation for my work in general practice.“
„Today, I am particularly passionate about family medicine and providing long-term care for my patients. A trusting relationship and personal contact are especially important to me.“

After graduating from high school in Westphalia, I ended up in the far North in Kiel. There I completed my studies in nutritional science in 2016. Shortly afterward, I entered into working life in what I consider to be the most beautiful city in Germany – Hamburg. For a period of five years I worked in clinical research in the field of dermatology. I gained valuable experience in two research institutes, especially in caring for patients.
I am very pleased to support the modern practice of the EppenDocs team since January 2022. Moving forward, I would like to use my knowledge of nutritional medicine in a targeted way and help people by providing personal nutritional advice. I believe in the importance of empathy and friendly communication in my work.
In my free time I am passionate about playing volleyball, going to all kinds of cultural events and discovering the city's restaurants with my best girlfriends.
